The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Divisional Round playoff matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. These seven players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

Just hours before kickoff, the 49ers promoted two players from the practice squad: offensive lineman Brandon Parker and defensive lineman Sebastian Valdez. Interestingly, both are inactive. The moves were likely made to allow the two players to receive game-day pay as a reward for their work—not an uncommon move for the team.

On Thursday, the 49ers listed three players as questionable: linebacker Luke Gifford (quadricep), wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee), and linebacker Dee Winters (ankle). All three are active.

At the same time, the team ruled out safety Ji'Ayir Brown and linebacker Fred Warner. San Francisco opened Warner's practice window just three months after he suffered a dislocated and fractured right ankle, but the All-Pro linebacker remains on injured reserve. Brown suffered a hamstring injury in the team's Wild Card win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Wide receiver Jacob Cowing (hamstring) also remains on injured reserve. Although he has been practicing with the team since January 7 and was initially listed as questionable for the Seahawks game, the 49ers officially ruled him out on game day.
