These weekend football picks are anything but leftovers

We at Bark Bets hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving full of family, delicious food and some winning football bets! While there is an NFL game today, we'd prefer to focus on the weekend slate of action, where there's more to like. In the spirit of the holiday, we'll cut right to the chase: we have leftovers to eat.

Four NFL bets for Sunday

Texans +1.5 vs. Jacksonville

Houston is hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday in an absolutely massive AFC South game. A Texans win here would vault C.J. Stroud and Houston into the top spot in the division with five weeks remaining. How crazy is that?

The crazier thing? We like them to do it. The Texans have been awesome lately, consistently moving the ball however they so please, and Stroud has elevated the group around him. The Jags can be taken advantage of through the air, and when these two met in September, Houston won 37-17. The Texans have had the Jaguars' number since 2018, winning 10 of the past 11 meetings.

Michael Pittman Jr. over 69.5 receiving yards (-110 DraftKings)

Pittman is Indianapolis' top option through the air, seeing nearly 100 targets this season and averaging 67.7 yards per game. The Colts will see a Buccaneers team that allows the ninth-most receptions/game to WRs, the second-most 20+ yard passes/game and the second-most passing yards/game.

We'll gladly back Pittman to pile up a big day here.

Browns +1.5 vs. Denver

Dorian Thompson-Robinson may not be anything special, but this Cleveland defense sure is. The Browns have the sixth-best record ATS this season, and their defense should be able to control things in this one. Yes, Denver has played better of late, but we're sorry, we just don't trust them like we do Myles Garrett and the Browns.

Odell Beckham Jr. over 41.5 receiving yards (-114 FanDuel)

No team has allowed more explosive plays or more passing yards than the Los Angeles Chargers this season. Odell Beckham has been coming on strong of late, finishing with yardage totals of 56, 40 and 116 over his last three games.

With Mark Andrews now out, more targets seem likely to come to the Ravens WRs in this one, and OBJ is our preference to capitalize against this porous secondary.

Two NCAAF bets for this weekend

It's Rivalry Weekend abound on the college gridiron, with the sport's fiercest enemies squaring off all day today and tomorrow. We're zeroed in on our two favorite rivalries for our best bets.

Michigan -3.5 vs. Ohio State

Michigan has dominated Ohio State over the past two seasons, winning by 15 and 22 points. Both teams have their strengths in this high-profile matchup between No. 2 and No. 3, but we prefer the Wolverines with the better QB, slightly better run game and playing at home. Give us Michigan to win and stamp their ticket to the CFP.

Auburn +13.5 vs. Alabama

Alabama is the better team and the school fighting for an outside chance at securing a seat in the CFP, but we can't help but lean toward the Auburn Tigers to play spoiler or keep this close. Wacky stuff happens in this rivalry game every year, and Auburn has won two of the past three games played at Jordan-Hare. We'll opt for the home 'dogs against the spread in what we hope is a fun game.
