The Tennessee Titans 53-man roster has been cut down, and the final tweaks are being made ahead of the regular season. One group of players whose roster standing isn’t in question, though, is the 2025 Titans Captains. From the team in a press release:

“The Tennessee Titans’ 2025 Team Captains were announced at the 2025 Captains Dinner in front of the full team, fans, and guests at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Nashville, the club announced Wednesday. Team captains for the upcoming campaign include first-year rookie QB Cam Ward, WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tony Pollard, LB Cody Barton, S Amani Hooker, DT Jeffery Simmons and LS Morgan Cox.”

Seven captains will lead this year’s Titans team: three on offense, three on defense, and stalwart special teamer Morgan Cox. It’s the fifth consecutive honor for Simmons and third for Cox. For being five years a captain, Simmons’ “C” patch will be gold. These captains were voted on by their teammates for their leadership.

During the summer program, the team was led by these groups of captains/co-captains through the offseason program: Team Jeffery Simmons/Chig Okonkwo, Tony Pollard/T’Vondre Sweat, Calvin Ridley/Sebastian Joseph-Day, Amani Hooker/Johnny Hekker, L’Jarius Sneed/Dan Moore, Lloyd Cushenberry/Arden Key, Morgan Cox/Xavier Woods, and team Peter Skoronski/Morgan Cox.

Newcomers to leadership for the regular season include Cam Ward and Cody Barton. The team also announced the charity work their captain’s dinner event proceeds would be going towards:

“Proceeds from the Captains Dinner support the work of the Titans Foundation and ONE Community, the Titans’ multi-faceted philanthropic platform that reaches many of Nashville’s most underrepresented and marginalized communities with a focus on three areas – Opportunity, Neighborhoods and Education. The Titans have binding partnership agreements with each ONE Community organization supported, and a six-member advisory committee to help foster growth and provide accountability, oversight, and reporting measures. Powered by the Titans Foundation, ONE Community strives to create generational change one person, one family, and one community at a time.”

These locker room leaders have 10 days to get themselves and their teammates ready for September 7th, when they face the Denver Broncos on the road.
