Titans Could Deal Veteran WR Calvin Ridley
USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect

Tom Pelissero reports that the Titans are more likely to deal veteran WR Calvin Ridley than RB Tony Pollard ahead of the deadline.

Ridley, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2018 out of Alabama. He played out the fourth year of his four-year, $10,900,732 contract that included a $6,007,804 signing bonus.

The Falcons exercised Ridley’s fifth-year option, which was scheduled to cost Atlanta $11.116 million fully guaranteed in 2022. However, it was tolled a year following his suspension for gambling. The Jaguars acquired the deal as part of their trade for Ridley at the 2022 deadline.

He quickly tested the market as an unrestricted free agent in 2024 after his contract with Jacksonville expired, signing a four-year, $92 million deal with the Titans, including $50 million guaranteed.

To remain with the team this season, Ridley agreed to a restructured deal that included a $11 million pay cut back in March.

In 2026, Ridley appeared in five games for the Titans and caught five passes for 81 yards.

We will have more on Ridley as it becomes available.
