Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree has been issued a citation charging him with misdemeanor assault following a physical altercation at a Walgreens in Nashville over the weekend, multiple sources reported.
A statement from the Metro Nashville Police Department states that the victim of the assault, 20-year-old Greg Butler, got into an argument with a group of customers including Dupree, and was left with a cut on his forehead.
According to the statement, "a group of subjects entered the store to shop. Some of the subjects got into a verbal argument with the victim. The subjects left, then re-entered the store with the defendant. The defendant then grabbed the victim and his phone. They then got into a physical altercation before the defendant left the location. Due to the victim being assaulted, the defendant is being charged with assault-fear of bodily injury."

Dupree has to report for booking on the citation in three weeks, the statement said.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel stayed tight-lipped when asked about the incident in his Wednesday press conference, only saying the team will "monitor the situation" as it develops.
Vrabel says #Titans are aware and will monitor the situation with Bud Dupree, and as always they will try to support their players to make good decisions on and off the field. @NC5
