Titans Owner May Have Tipped Hand on Who No. 1 Pick Will Be

At this point in the draft process, it's looking likely that the Tennessee Titans will select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick. However, the team made it seem like they still haven't made a decision at the recent annual league meetings.

That may just be a smokescreen. The Titans have done a lot of work on Ward and even the owner is getting in on the action.

According to Easton Freeze of A to Z Sports , Amy Adams Strunk met with Ward recently, which could be a strong indication of the team's plans in the 2025 NFL Draft.

"Then for his private workout, every team official returned with one very notable addition: Controlling Owner Amy Adams Strunk," Freeze wrote. "She went down to meet the player she plans to soon root on as the face of the franchise. NFL owners don’t typically make a habit of meeting with prospects ahead of the draft unless they expect to take them. Her trip and introduction to Cam went very well."

Now, nothing is guaranteed until the Titans officially make the pick but this might be the strongest indication yet that Ward will be heading to Tennessee.

The team has done very little to bolster their quarterback room this offseason and it's highly unlikely they view Will Levis as a long-term starter. It's possible that things could change but the fact that Strunk has met with Ward is a good sign that he's locked in as the No. 1 pick this year.
