The Tennessee Titans chose to retain head coach Brian Callahan this offseason despite a brutal 3-14 campaign in 2024. To shake things up, they brought in new general manager Mike Borgonzi, a longtime executive for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Oddly enough, Borgonzi is now reunited on the Titans with two key players from his time in the AFC West. Former Denver Broncos center Lloyd Cushenberry III is in line to start for Tennessee, and his former player for the Chiefs, L'Jarius Sneed, is also a Titan.
Unfortunately, both of these players are currently injured and have been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list prior to training camp.

Players can come off the PUP list at any point during the preseason, but it does not seem like that will be the case for these two Titans starters. Borgonzi spoke to the media on Tuesday and talked about the timelines for Cushenberry and Sneed.
"Lloyd Cushenberry will start on PUP. He's making good progress right now; he's just not there yet. I would say he's week-to-week right now," Borgonzi said. "Same thing with LJ. L'Jarius, he's going to start on PUP. LJ's been working really hard here in the offseason to get back, and he's week-to-week as well right now."
Cushenberry started eight games for the Titans last season before being placed on IR in early November. Sneed played in just five games for Tennessee before being officially placed on IR after Week 10.
Titans training camp began on Wednesday morning, which was headlined by rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the team's No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Getting these two starters back healthy, however, will also be a major storyline to follow for the Titans.
