The Tennessee Titans are fresh off their victory over the San Francisco 49ers. This was a game that showcased many highs and lows, but not much changed the outcome of some of the best players in camp thus far.
Here are the superlatives ahead of the Titans vs. Seahawks game on Sunday.
There isn’t a single player on the roster who has impressed me more to begin this preseason than Elic Ayomanor. Ayomanor has been getting better at every route in his route tree, and he continues to show that he is deserving to be a starting wide receiver on this roster. His continued success now will lead to some big plays during this season.
No, you didn’t read that wrong. The best rookie of camp has been Fernando Carmona. He went from being a projected backup and competing for the second-string spot to being the expected starter at the right guard position for the Titans this season. He is going to have the chance to prove to be the next best Titans offensive guard across from left guard superstar Peter Skoronski.
Jacob Martin has made his presence felt when it comes to the team practice portion, including some big plays against the likes of JC Latham and Dan Moore Jr. He was originally expected to be a player who saw some rotational snaps near the 2026 season; however, his continued success throughout the preseason leaves him as the favorite to be a starting edge alongside Jermaine Johnson II.
Wan’Dale Robinson makes the list as the best offensive player (not factoring in MVP Elic Ayomanor, so someone else can get awarded). Robinson has become the favorite target of Cam Ward, the Titans’ quarterback. This is a great sign moving forward, as Ward has a tendency to throw to the slot and to the tight end position the most, thanks to the pressure that he faces throughout the season. This makes Robinson arguably the player who needed to stand out the most.
