Tom Brady gets unsportsmanlike penalty for yelling at referee about hit that drew blood

Tom Brady went to halftime against the Los Angeles Rams down 20-3 with no touchdowns, one interception and a bloody mouth.

Brady's busted lip happened when he was hit by the Rams' Von Miller on a pass play. It was one of 10 pressures generated by the Los Angeles pass rush in the first half.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was furious that no roughing the passer penalty was called and let the referee know it. Instead of getting the 15-yard penalty he wanted on the Rams, Brady instead was on the receiving end of a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, Brady had never been called for taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct in his career before Sunday.
