Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny made history on Sunday. According to Complex Sports, the Super Bowl halftime show drew 135 million viewers, the most of all time.
Of course, that list of viewers included multiple NFL legends, including the winningest quarterback of all time.
While the show drew polarizing reviews on social media, Tom Brady's stance was loud and clear.
Following the show, the New England Patriots legend took to social media to use one word to describe what he had just seen.
"Amazing!!!!!!!!!" Brady wrote with three red heart emojis in his Instagram story.
The 31-year-old rocked the stage with major hits like “Tití Me Preguntó,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “MONACO,” “Nuevayol” and “El Apagón.”
He also surprised fans by performing a salsa version of “Die With a Smile,” and dancing salsa with Lady Gaga, followed by fellow Boricua Ricky Martin singing “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii.”
Bad Bunny had the first all-Spanish Super Bowl halftime show in history. Given his worldwide outreach and unmatched recognition, he was an easy choice for a league actively looking to expand across the globe and to play more international games each year.
It was a polarizing decision, but Bad Bunny delivered a loving, positive message, with the Jumbotron reading "The only thing more powerful than hate is love" at the end of the show.
Most people at Levi's Stadium may not have understood a word he was saying, but they sure had a good time.
