Tom Brady says Logan Paul’s WWE skills are 'cute' compared to NFL athletes

NFL legend Tom Brady doesn't need much of a reason to talk trash, but WWE's Logan Paul gave him a good one.

Brady is gearing up for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia on March 21, alongside a bunch of NFL stars and legends. The two crossed paths on the "Impaulsive" podcast recently, and things got a little spicy when the conversation turned to the upcoming game.

Tom Brady hesitant to put Logan Paul in same tier as NFL athletes

Paul didn't just say he was excited to compete in the flag football contest. He put himself in the same category as elite NFL athletes like Saquon Barkley and Justin Jefferson. Brady heard that and had something to say about it.

"You're a good athlete but these guys are on another level," Brady told him.

Paul then brought up his WWE background as proof of his athleticism. Brady was surely not one to be moved.

"It's cute. I love WWE, it's very cute, but honestly, this is like real football. This is real competition."

Paul was also not one to back down. He brought up his football background, saying he earned all-state honors as a linebacker and rushed for 1,200 yards in college. Brady didn't care much for that.

He made it clear that what Paul did before doesn't mean a thing here. The only thing that matters is how Paul holds up when he's actually lining up against NFL talent.

Paul took the whole thing as fuel. Instead of cooling off, he leaned into it and said he would let his performance do the talking when the game comes around.

The level of competition Paul is walking into is no joke. Moreover, the game isn't far off, and if Paul does anything worth talking about, Brady might have to revisit that "cute" comment. Then again, Brady's been right about most things in his career, and there's no real reason to think this take is any different.
