Cam Ward received a surprise message from Tom Brady as part of a special Fanatics event.

Dreams rarely knock on your door. But it can pop up on a projector screen at times. For rookie quarterback Cam Ward, it was that kind of a moment, and the man fulfilling that dream? None other than Tom Brady.

In a video released by Fanatics today, several top rookies from the 2025 NFL Draft got the surprise of their lives. Ward, along with names like Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, sat down to watch a surprise message from NFL legends. The moment turned surreal when the GOAT himself, Brady, appeared with a personal message just for Cam.

“Hey Cam! Welcome to the NFL, my man. You’re gonna grow in ways you couldn’t even imagine, and I’m gonna be watching, and I’m always pulling for you,” Brady said.

Ward, stunned and humbled, couldn’t hide his excitement. “That’s crazy, for the greatest player of all time to send me a video like that… I’m ready for the challenge,” he said, clearly understanding the importance of the moment in his life.

Cam Ward's Rookie Moment to Remember

The heartwarming gesture was part of Fanatics’ special Rookie Premiere shoot back in May, where future stars got one-on-one messages from the game's all-time greats. Ward wasn’t the only one. Other legends like Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice, and Barry Sanders also had words of wisdom for fellow rookies. Even current stars like Micah Parsons and Justin Herbert joined in.

But Brady’s message to Ward was different than the rest. It wasn’t just a shoutout but a personal handoff of expectations from the greatest winner the league has ever seen. And as a cherry on top, each rookie also received a signed jersey from their veteran mentor.
