Tom Brady Sends Three-Word Message to Julian Edelman After Patriots HOF News

On Monday morning, the New England Patriots announced that 11-year veteran wide receiver Julian Edelman had been voted into the Patriots Hall of Fame by Patriots fans. It was Edelman's first year on the ballot, and he earned the honors after an incredible career in New England.

In an Instagram story from Tom Brady, Edelman was congratulated on making the Patriots Hall of Fame. The message Brady sent was short, but sweet.

Brady threw to a lot of incredible receivers in his future Hall of Fame career, and Edelman was one of the best he ever played alongside.

Brady threw 35 touchdowns to Edelman in New England, the third most in touchdowns to a single receiver in Brady's career. Edelman was a huge factor in every postseason run the Patriots went on, even winning Super Bowl MVP in 2018.

During his career, Edelman had 6,822 receiving yards with the Patriots, the fourth most all-time. He also has the most targets with 941 and the second most receptions with 620.

Edelman tallied up 1,442 receiving yards in the postseason, the most in Patriots history. He helped the Patriots win three Super Bowls and was an instrumental part of the Patriots' dynasty from the moment he arrived in 2009 to his retirement after 2020.

The connection between Edelman and Brady was a major factor in the Patriots becoming a dynasty. Their chemistry helped the Patriots win multiple Super Bowls.

The duo reached their peak together on a miraculous catch against the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl. Edelman's catch kept the Patriots alive and was the turning point in the Patriots overcoming a 28-3 deficit.

While Edelman never won any major individual awards for his regular-season work, his postseason greatness helped Brady and the Patriots become the dynasty Patriots fans know today.

Brady's message to Edelman isn't an elaborate one, but it's a short and sweet one that showcases their relationship and Brady's appreciation for Edelman.
