Despite the fact that it is now over two years since we last saw Tom Brady in action, the fact that he is now talking from the booth during games, as opposed to terrorizing opponents on the field, still requires some getting used to for the fans.
The seven-time Super Bowl Champion, however, has done well in his transition from being the top dog in the NFL to becoming a commentator for Fox Sports. Brady has made waves in his first season as a broadcaster, and he was back at it again on Sunday during the NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders.
At one point in the contest, the broadcast showed former Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Nick Foles in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field. This gave Brady an opportunity to send a blunt message to his former foe.
"Nick, I don't hate you," Brady said when reminded of his Super Bowl clash against Foles and the Eagles. "I'm just jealous of you. you caught it, I didn't."

Brady and Foles have quite a history between them. As referenced by Fox Sports' Kevin Burkhardt during the broadcast, there is no more memorable clash between these two quarterbacks than the 2018 Super Bowl at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In that unforgettable encounter, Foles made history by becoming just the second QB ever to defeat Brady in the big game. Foles led the Eagles to an incredible 41-33 win over Brady's New England Patriots, en route to bagging the Super Bowl MVP trophy.
To this day, Foles' "Philly Special" is something that is fondly remembered by the Eagles faithful. It clearly also lives rent-free in the mind of Brady.
Nick Foles turns 36 today, but the Philly Special is timeless. ⁰⁰

The Eagles will now return to the Super Bowl after their blowout win over the Commanders on Sunday. They are back at the pinnacle two years after they heartbreakingly lost the title to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023.
An Eagles-Chiefs rematch could be in the books for the 2025 Super Bowl on Feb. 9, if Kansas City is able to emerge victorious in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
