Tom Brady is a seven-time NFL Super Bowl Champion and former high school baseball player who was a Montreal Expos draft pick as a catch in 1995, on the strength of his strong right arm and all-around sports acumen.

Sports are a big part of Brady's family, including his niece Maya Brady, who has not shied away about sharing her thoughts on her uncle in the public spotlight.

More than 180 weeks ago, Maya Brady shared a family photo of her on her famous uncle's lap, calling him the "greatest to ever do it (in the NFL)."

Now, Maya Brady is set to make her debut in a professional softball league that will give Tom Brady the chance to watch his niece on a whole new stage.

Maya Brady finished her career with the UCLA Bruins ranked second in career home runs with 71, second in runs batted in with 246, second in total bases with 550 and second in slugging percentage at .757.

Now a member of the Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League's first-place Talons, Maya Brady was activated from the injured list and will make her debut on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.

Maya Brady is also the niece of former Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis and credits both of her uncles with giving her direction to forge her path as an athlete.

"You can learn so much by just watching them, watching both of their careers," Maya Brady said according to MLB.com.

"Kevin didn't marry into our family until a little later into his career so I didn't get to be a part of that as much, but definitely still watched him in the later years. And then Tommy, my whole life," Maya Brady added.
