The start to the 2026 season hasn’t been favorable for the Tennessee Titans, and it especially hasn’t been favorable for the players on the offensive side of the ball.
Tony Pollard has had some solid games, but overall he has lacked the consistency to truly be a suitable fantasy option. Now, for Week 5, he faces a tough matchup against the Houston Texans which makes him a key sit candidate.
With Pollard, he is facing the Texans defense that ranks fourth in yards per carry allowed at 3.35 yards and eighth in rushing success allowed with 37%. The limited gains that the Texans have allowed on the ground will be what leads to a slow fantasy week for Pollard.
DeMeco Ryans is also taking back over the defensive play calling, which could lead to the Texans’ defense being even more dialed in than previous weeks, all setting Pollard up for a poor matchup in Week 5 for fantasy production.
