Lamb’s rating reflects the reputation he has built as one of the league’s top receivers. EA Sports gave him a 97 ball-carrying vision, 96 jumping, and 94 agility, along with the “Superstar X Factor” designation.

Prescott received the same designation and entered the game as one of its highest-rated quarterbacks. His attributes include a 94 awareness rating, 97 toughness, and 92 throw power.

Williams sits between Dallas’ two offensive stars on the EA.com list. The defensive tackle made another Pro Bowl last season after playing for two teams and remains one of the Cowboys’ biggest pieces in the middle of the defense.

Pickens and Smith are tied at 89. Pickens is coming off a 1,429-yard season with nine touchdowns, while Smith heads into training camp at guard with his position still worth watching.

The Madden ratings offer one view of the Cowboys. Their actual schedule provides a much tougher test.

Cowboys face difficult stretch early in 2026

Dan Parr of NFL.com ranked Dallas’ 2026 schedule as the fifth-toughest in the league. The Cowboys also face several difficult road games early in the season.

Dallas travels to Brazil in Week 3 to face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Three of the team’s next four games are then on the road against teams that made the playoffs last season, including prime-time matchups at Green Bay and Philadelphia.

That stretch could put the Cowboys’ highly rated roster under pressure before the season reaches its midpoint. A Thanksgiving meeting with the Eagles and later trips to Seattle and the Rams add more challenges.

There is plenty for Dallas to like on paper, starting with Lamb and Prescott. The ratings are strong, but the schedule won’t give the Cowboys much room for a slow start.

Lamb and George Pickens could be especially important as Dallas works through that stretch. The two receivers are entering their second season together, and Lamb expects the partnership to produce plenty of big plays.

“Lots of fireworks, lots of excitement, lots of touchdowns, lots of dances,” Lamb said.

Lamb also hopes better health helps him build on last season alongside Pickens, as reported by Roundtable.

“We spend a lot of the offseason together, honestly,” Lamb said. “So, everything that you saw last year, we’re going to build off of that, and God willing I’m healthier the whole year, and then we’re going to see what happens from there.”

Madden 27 arrives on August 13. The Cowboys’ real test begins soon after on September 13 at MetLife Stadium.
