The Chicago Bears have seen several players make significant contributions through the first three weeks of the season. While some players have produced eye-catching statistics, others have made their impact felt through consistent play that shows up on film and in the grades.

With Week 4 approaching, five Bears have separated themselves from the rest of the roster according to their PFF grades. From dominant offensive line play to improved performances on defense, these players have established themselves as some of Chicago’s most impactful contributors early in the season.

Darnell Wright (91.1)

Chicago’s starting right tackle has continued to dominate along the offensive line. Across 123 pass-blocking snaps, Wright has allowed only three pressures, resulting in a 73.3 pass-blocking grade.

However, his run-blocking grade across 98 snaps is an incredible 93.2. It’s easy to see why he has been the offense’s most impactful player when you turn on the tape.

Jonah Jackson (89.4)

Jackson has been equally impressive through three weeks. Like Wright, he has allowed only three pressures across 123 pass-blocking snaps, resulting in an 83.5 pass-blocking grade.

His run blocking has also been consistently stout, as he has posted an 84.5 grade in that area through three games.

Kalif Raymond (84.7)

Raymond hasn’t been lighting up the stat sheet, but he has still produced solid numbers, including 97 yards after the catch this season. He also has not been charged with a drop so far.

After the Bears traded D.J. Moore, questions inevitably emerged about who could step into the WR3 role. Is Raymond on the rise and answering the call?

T.J. Edwards (73.7)

Edwards had a difficult game to start the season. He allowed a touchdown catch in coverage, was charged with four missed tackles and allowed a 100% completion rate.

Since then, however, he has flipped the script.

Edwards has recorded six run stuffs and an interception while allowing a completion rate of just 60%. His grades have reflected that improvement, with Week 2 and Week 3 performances earning grades of 89.9 and 91.6, respectively.

Austin Booker (73.6)

Like Edwards, Booker had a difficult start to the season. His performances weren’t necessarily awful, but they left something to be desired. In Week 3, however, Booker bounced back with a much stronger performance.

Through three games, he has recorded a forced fumble, a sack and five pressures.
