Training Camp Recap for Friday, August 7th

The Miami Dolphins held another training camp practice on Friday. This practice was open to the general public, and we here at DolphinsTalk had some people in attendance. Here is what they saw take place today.

Kenneth Grant shut down an end around and got to Malik Willis at the line of scrimmage

Right Tackle Charlie Heck struggled in this practice. He has had a very rough training camp thus far overall.

Robert Beal stopped Ollie Gordon in the backfield

Jaylen Wright ran for 7 yards up the middle

Malik Willis had a designed run that did not pick up a yard

Matthew Butler and Clelin Ferrel combined for a “would-be” sack on Quinn Ewers

Malik Willis hit rookie TE Will Kacmarek for a wide-open touchdown in the end zone

Quinn Ewers hit rookie TE Seydou Traore for a pass, but it went for no gain as Ronnie Harrison Jr made a stop once the ball was caught

De’Von Achane had a 9-yard run

Cam Miller overthrew DJ Herman

Rookie 7th-round pick Max Llewellyn had a sack of Quinn Ewers

Rookie safety Louis Moore brought down Jaylen Wright in the backfield

Ronnie Harrison swatted down a Quinn Ewers pass

Zach Sieler had a “would-be” sack on Malik Willis

Mark Gronowski  threw two interceptions on the day

Tajh Washington dropped a Mark Gronowski pass

Willis to Malik Washington for about 8 yards

Theo Wease had a 10-yard reception from Cam Miller

Carlos Washington Jr ran for 10 yards up the middle

Malik Willis hit Jalen Reagor for 3 straight passes that moved the chains and got a first down

Josh Uche beat Patrick Paul on a pass play to get heavy pressure on Malik Willis

Caleb Douglas beat Jason Marshall Jr on a deep pass thrown by Malik Willis

Quinn Ewers connected with AJ Henning on a 1st and goal from the 5-yard line in a red-zone drill

Robert Beal met Jaylen Wright at the line of scrimmage, but Wright ran through the contact

Malik Willis hit TE Cole Turner on a completion

Donovan Edwards ran for no gain up the middle

Louis Moore broke up a Quinn Ewers pass to Tutu Atwell

Miles Battle had 2 interceptions on the day

De’Vone Achane ran for 4 yards

David Ojabo had a “would-be” sack on Quinn Ewers

On Saturday, they will have a “scrimmage” at Hard Rock Stadium.
