Travis Kelce dives deep into his relationship with Taylor Swift

It's been two years since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift started dating, but being the superstars they are, their relationship is still a constant talking point among sports and pop music fans alike.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was one of the most popular athletes in the U.S., but he was far below his significant other in terms of worldwide popularity. She's one of the few people who could make him feel rather unknown or like a sidekick.

Then again, he's just fine with that. In an exclusive interview with GQ, the three-time Super Bowl champion admitted that he enjoys being just another fan.

“I get to be the plus one,” Kelce said. “I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. I’m a fan of music. I’m a fan of art. And it’s so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field…. I feel that same enjoyment every time she comes to my shows.” 

Of course, juggling a relationship and their respective careers could be challenging, but he insists they're just like every other couple when the cameras aren't around.

“Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” Kelce admitted. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.”

With the start of the NFL season just around the corner, Kelce will shift his focus to getting back to the Super Bowl, all while Swift takes the world by storm again with her new studio album.
