Travis Kelce Jokes Are Pouring In Because of Chiefs Star's NBA Look-Alike

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce might be taking a break from the public eye with his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, amid the NFL offseason; however, that hasn't stopped fans from mentioning him online.

In fact, he got dragged into an NBA joke on Saturday after SportsCenter posted a rather interesting stat about Sacramento Kings big man Jonas Valanciunas.

Apparently, Valanciunas "has made every single play-in tournament since it began." The NBA Play-In Tournament started in the 2019-20 season, and the Lithuanian center has been part of the teams that always end up in the competition since then.

However, while the stat itself drew reactions, other fans couldn't help but see the similarities in the facial appearances of Valanciunas and Kelce—thanks in large part to their head shape and beard.

"He’s also one of the greatest tight ends of all time," a commenter joked, clearly referencing Kelce instead of Valanciunas. Another one said, "Good job for Travis Kelce."

A fan even mentioned Kelce's girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, writing, "Omg so Taylor might not get to come to the playoffs to watch Travis?"

"So your telling me that’s not Travis Kelce?" a social media user asked. A fifth fan echoed a similar sentiment, stating, "Is Travis Kelce playing basketball??"

"Why is Travis Kelce in Sacramento," a poster stated.

"Am I tripping or does he look like Travis Kelce," a supporter remarked.

"That is Kelce!" another commenter exclaimed.

To be fair, there's definitely some resemblance between Jonas Valanciunas and Travis Kelce. Furthermore, it's not the first time that the two players have been compared, with many reports in the past calling Valanciunas the NFL star's doppelganger.

Sure enough, it's unlikely the conversation about their similar appearances will end any time soon.
