Travis Kelce Makes Patrick Mahomes Decision Before Wedding

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have helped the Kansas City Chiefs create one of the greatest dynasties the NFL has ever seen. Over the past nine seasons, Kelce and Mahomes have helped the Chiefs secure five AFC Championship Game wins, appearing in five Super Bowls and, of course, winning three.

However, the 2025 NFL season was a much different story for Kansas City. After beginning the year with a 5-3 record, the Chiefs would go on to lose eight of their last nine games, finishing 2025 with a 6-11 record and missing out on the playoffs entirely. To make matters worse, Mahomes saw his ninth season end early after suffering a torn ACL in the Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

During the past three seasons, while Mahomes has continued his personal life with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and their three children, Kelce has been in a relationship with Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift. The two stars began dating ahead of the 2023 NFL season, with Swift frequently attending Chiefs home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

But on Aug. 10, just ahead of the 2025 NFL season, Kelce proposed to Swift at his home in Missouri before publicly announcing the news a couple of weeks later. And while nothing has been confirmed, rumors suggest the wedding is set for this summer on Saturday, June 13, in Westerly, Rhode Island.

But before Kelce and Swift can tie the knot, the tight end is set to have his bachelor party in the coming weeks, according to Page Six. The Chiefs star is planning a “chill trip” to the Bahamas toward the end of May. And Kelce’s reported guest list includes his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, along with some of his Kansas City teammates, including Mahomes.

"Travis Kelce’s bachelor party is just weeks away, Page Six has learned," Page Six's Mara Siegler wrote. "A source tells us that Taylor Swift’s fiancé will be having a chill trip with his buddies at the end of May in the Bahamas. A source tells us the big item on the agenda is golf with his brother Jason Kelce and pals like his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes."

As Kelce prepares for a major offseason milestone, the Chiefs star will look to carry that momentum into what could be a pivotal 2026 season for Kansas City.
