Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has had one of the greatest careers at his position in NFL history. In his 13 years in the league, Kelce has racked up 1,080 receptions, which leads all active players, for 13,002 yards and 82 touchdowns. All three of these are all-time Chiefs records.
Kelce has spent his entire career with Kansas City after he was taken by the franchise in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He's been selected to 11 Pro Bowls and won three Super Bowl rings during his Chiefs tenure.
The 2025 season was a disappointing one for Kansas City, as it finished the year with a 6-11 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Despite the team's lack of success this past season, Kelce had quite a successful year. He started all 17 games, catching 76 passes for 851 yards and five scores. This earned him a Pro Bowl selection for the 11th consecutive year.
The 36-year-old tight end has been surrounded by retirement rumors throughout the season. His two-year, $34.25 million contract expired at the end of the 2025 season, making him an unrestricted free agent this offseason if he does not re-sign with the Chiefs.
On Saturday, the Associated Press All-Pro first and second team rosters were released, and Kelce's name did not show up on the list.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride took home First Team honors while Atlanta Falcons star Kyle Pitts earned the first All-Pro selection of his career on the Second Team.
This marked the third straight season that Kelce did not make an All-Pro team. From the 2016 to the 2022 seasons, he had made seven (four First Team and three Second Team) teams in a row.
With the future of Kelce's career in question, No. 87 may have taken his final snaps in a Chiefs uniform.
