The Cincinnati Bengals have some decisions to make while the NFL offseason continues.
After a 2024-25 season that was filled with disappointment and a failed attempt at a late-season playoff push, the Bengals have made some big steps towards paying some of their best players.
Of course, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins have highlighted their offseason when both wide receivers agreed to four-year contract extensions.
Chase became the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, while Higgins' deal made him the highest-paid No. 2 receiver the league has ever seen.
With all of this money being thrown around to the Bengals' best players, there's one player who hasn't gotten the same love.
Eight-year veteran pass-rusher and the 2024 NFL sacks-leader (17.5 sacks), Trey Hendrickson, has been looking for a contract extension himself and it seems that the Bengals are milking the process.
Hendrickson spoke with ESPN on Monday in regard to a possible contract extension.
"No communication has taken place between my camp and the organization post draft... Rather than using collaboration to get us to a point to bring me home to the team, THEY are no longer communicating," Hendrickson spoke in frustration.

The offers prior to the draft did not reflect the vision we shared and were promised last offseason if I continued to play at a high level. Coaches are… pic.twitter.com/2MKBL60ATg

Hendrickson is going into the 2025-26 season in his final year under contract.
He's been trying to get on the same page as the Bengals when having talks on an extension but it seems that Cincinnati doesn't have interest in the conversation right now.
Even though both sides of the party aren't on the same page, Hendrickson was spotted at the Bengals' offseason practice without a uniform on.

It seems as if the 2024 NFL sacks-leader is still supporting his team and showing up to practice, but it's coming at his own price, as he isn't participating.
Instead, he's watching his fellow teammates go through offseason workouts and it's certain that it has something to do with his contract talks.
