The Indianapolis Colts are very excited about what they've seen from their 2025 first-round pick, Tyler Warren. He has impressed teammates and coaches with what he brings to the team, both on and off the field.
The Colts have some big plans for Warren to play a pivotal role in their offense during his rookie season. Before his NFL career kicks off, Warren was able to receive some words of encouragement and a special gift from none other than Colts legend Peyton Manning.

Thanks to Fanatics, Warren received a video from Manning. Peyton wished Warren luck during his NFL career and welcomed the TE to Indianapolis. More than probably, anybody, Manning knows that if you give everything to this city, the fan base will be in your corner forever. You could make the argument that the Colts wouldn't even be in Indianapolis today if it weren't for the success of Manning and his era of Colts football. In addition to the video, Manning also gifted Warren a signed Colts jersey with a special message included.
The TE that first comes to mind for Colts fans typically is Dallas Clark, a player that Manning got to experience firsthand how great he was. Clark spent nine years with the Colts after being selected in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He recorded 505 receptions, 5,665 yards, and 53 touchdowns as a member of the Colts. Warren already joined him as a Colts first-round pick, and now he hopes to follow in his footsteps and become the franchise's next elite TE. Clark only recorded 340 yards and one touchdown as a rookie, but was able to improve throughout his career. If I had to guess right now, I'd say Warren surpasses Clark's rookie season in both yards and touchdowns, even if he doesn't have the luxury Clark did of playing with a QB like Manning.
