Tyreek Hill Sends Chiefs Message After Four Dolphins Seasons

Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins didn't have the 2025 NFL season they had hoped for. Finishing the year with a 7-10 record and in third-place in the AFC East, the Dolphins missed out on the NFL playoffs for a second-straight year. To make matters worse, Hill was forced to miss most of the season after suffering a dislocated knee and torn ACL in the Week 4 win over the New York Jets.

Hill spent his first six NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning a Super Bowl and earning three All-Pro nods, before he was traded to the Dolphins in 2022 in exchange for five draft picks. The wide receiver has spent the last four years in Miami, securing another two All-Pro nods, before the Dolphins released him following Super Bowl LX on Feb. 16.

During his time with the Chiefs, Hill became one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite pass catchers. The former West Alabama star totaled 479 catches for 6,630 yards and 56 touchdowns in six seasons with Kansas City before joining the Dolphins, where he recorded arguably the two best years of his career in 2022 and 2023, posting 119 catches and eclipsing 1,700 yards in each season.

But nearly a month into NFL free agency, and despite being one of the biggest names remaining on the market, Hill still does not have a team. This is likely due to his ongoing injury recovery, along with entering the latter half of his NFL career at age 32.

And recently, Hill took to Snapchat to share a post about his former team, including a photo of himself with Chiefs coach Andy Reid. With him still a free agent, Hill could be signaling interest in a reunion with Mahomes and Reid in Kansas City.

The Chiefs could certainly use all the help they can get at the wide receiver position in 2026, with their top wideout of 2025, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles.
