Tyreek Hill’s Agent Gives Worrying Update

It’s been almost nine months now since former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill played in an NFL game. Hill suited up against the New York Jets back in September of 2025, and in the third quarter of that contest, he tore his ACL and multiple ligaments in his knee and subsequently sat out the remainder of the season.

Despite how long it’s been since Hill went down for the count, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, claims there’s no set timetable for his return to the field. Rosenhaus said as much in a recent sit-down with Miami-based sportscaster Josh Moser, acknowledging that his client is “still in the midst of a rigorous recovery and rehab” all these months later.

It’s worth noting that Rosenhaus’ comments come not long after an NFL insider cast doubt on Hill’s availability for 2026. Tom Pelissero noted late last month that it’s unclear if the wideout will be healthy enough to play at all in the coming season.

The Dolphins released Hill early in the offseason following a four-year partnership that was a rollercoaster of ups and downs. For a while, there was a honeymoon phase, as Hill got off to a spectacular start to his stint in Miami and put together maybe the best two-season stretch from a Dolphins wideout ever. He totaled 3,509 receiving yards and 20 receiving touchdowns across the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.

However, the tail end of his Dolphins career was tarnished by off-the-field drama and injuries, and so the writing was on the wall for his departure well before the team ultimately released him.

Hill has now been on the open market and looking for his next NFL home for months now, and Rosenhaus’ recent remarks suggest he’ll unfortunately have to wait a while longer, as it’s clear he’s nowhere near ready to get back out on the field.
