We have covered the UCLA Bruins since the foundation of the LAFB Network in 2019. I followed and attended UCLA football games well before that. This is by far the lowest point that the program has reached.
There were times during the Chip Kelly years that felt low, like the head coach maybe didn’t care all that much about the program, but at a minimum, the team was competitive and typically beat the teams they should have beaten.
After last night’s drubbing at the hands of New Mexico, the UCLA Bruins are now 0-3, and they may struggle to win a single game this season.
What makes matters worse is that the program is taking heat from all angles. The fans, the media, and now even other college football conferences have joined in on trolling the Bruins.
During the 2nd quarter of last night’s game, New Mexico took a 14-0 lead. The RedditCFB account posted the clip of the touchdown with the caption, “UCLA reportedly exploring a move to the FCS Big Sky. (source: I made it up)”

Funny in its own right, but then the account run by the Big Sky Conference reposted it with the caption, “No thank you.”

An absolute historic troll job, and a perfect example of just how low the UCLA football program is at the moment.
The PAC-12 also took an opportunity to get in on the action and take a shot at UCLA. Reposting the fact that UCLA is 0-3 and will have a tough time winning a single game with a classic Seinfeld gif.

Things are really bad right now for DeShaun Foster and the Bruins. Unfortunately, there is no evidence to prove that it will get better.
UCLA plays at Northwestern next week. This may be their last true shot at a win, as they will likely be massive underdogs in every remaining game on the schedule.
