The Winter Olympics have been extra special for U.S. snowboarder Chloe Kim. The 25-year-old made history after becoming the first athlete to medal in three consecutive Olympics at the halfpipe competition. The icing on top of the cake is that Kim was able to share her big moment with her boyfriend, Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett.
Fresh off his second Defensive Player of the Year title, Garrett flew to Italy to support her girlfriend in the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics. Garrett was at the finish line when Kim completed her historic halfpipe run. The couple also spent Valentine’s Day together at the Winter Olympics.
On Friday, Kim shared a photo of a lovely bouquet of flowers on Instagram. She tagged Garrett in the post as she shared her boyfriend’s advanced Valentine’s Day surprise.
Kim was back on social media on Saturday. She posted another photo on her Instagram stories, with Garrett taking center stage this time. Kim revealed, however, that her man had not officially asked her to be his Valentine.
“Update: still haven’t been asked but I think we r each others Valentines maybe,” Kim captioned her post.
Around an hour later, Garrett posted on his Instagram. The Browns defensive end sent a heartfelt Valentine’s Day message to his significant other.
“So proud of you! I’m thankful that I get to be by your side watching the extraordinary things you do. You fought through so much to even get to this point and you earned everything and more. The , my love and my Valentine. Happy Valentine’s Day babe ❤️” Garrett wrote.
Kim responded by expressing how thankful she is with how Garrett has been “dealing with my craziness over the last couple months.” Kim also said Garret is “forever my Valentine.”
The three-time World Championships gold medalist also shared Garrett’s post on her Instagram stories. This included a message of forgiveness.
“Kk I forgive him,” Kim posted.
Garrett may not have officially asked Kim to be his Valentine, but clearly, his actions speak louder than words. Or in this instance, his sweet Valentine’s Day post said it all.
Kim and Garrett went public with their relationship in May 2025, when they attended an Anime event in Japan together. They became “Instagram official” in September when Kim posted photos of the five-time All-Pro DE on her account.
