USA Today's Nate Davis dropped his 1-32 NFL uniform rankings this week and slotted Cincinnati at No. 8 overall.
The Bengals have an iconic color scheme and stripe pattern.
"They earned beaucoup points (and their first Super Bowl berth) in 1981 when they stopped looking like Browns knock-offs – gross – and literally changed their stripes," Davis wrote. "They’ve unnecessarily monkeyed with the jerseys and pants over the years and last season’s monochrome orange debut … nah. But the primary uniform is in a good place, and the white tiger alternates are as good as anyone’s – though that helmet doesn’t actually need to suddenly be mixed into other combinations."
Cincinnati changed its primary uniform ahead of the 2021 season after wearing the previous design from 2004-2020.
The Chargers came in at No. 1 on the list with their variety of blue-based looks. Check out the full ranking here.
