Video Surfaces of Ja'Marr Chase's Practice Injury Tuesday

Ja’Marr Chase limped off of the Cincinnati Bengals practice field with an apparent leg injury on Tuesday afternoon.

The All-Pro wide receiver was running down the sidelined when he got tangled up with some Bengals defensive backs, going for a Joe Burrow-thrown pass. Chase appeared to injure or tweak something in his left knee. Chase was down on the field in pain for a couple of seconds. Ultimately, he hobbled off of the field with trainers.

The scene at Bengals practice is understandably tense on Tuesday afternoon, as the team waits to see if the injury suffered by Chase was minor or major. Obviously, losing Chase for an extended period of time would be a massive blow to the team’s chances of competing in the AFC North this season.

NFL fans are understandably worried.

“I am not a doctor. Looks like a hyper extension,” one fan wrote.

“Oh no!” another added.

“Ja’Marr Chase goes DOWN and it doesn’t look particularly great. Football is the worst,” another fan added.

Chase appears to be doing OK after injury

Chase was later seen walking around the field, with less of an apparent limp, minutes after his apparent practice injury.

The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver was seen talking with his star quarterback, among other players.

“Ja’Marr Chase continues to walk around the field. Some words with Joe Burrow and an embrace with DJ Turner,” Tragellis added.
