Bynum has become known for his celebrations across the league, including one last week when he and Josh Metellus did the dance from the movie White Chicks.
“I am extremely grateful to receive the NFLPA Community MVP award,” Bynum told the NFLPA. “I love being able to serve my community and show God’s love to everyone in any way that I can. I look forward to doing even more for my community in Minnesota, California and in the Philippines!”
Bynum has been very active in the Minneapolis community over his time in Minnesota since being a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. For winning the Community MVP award, Bynum will be getting a $10,000 donation for either his foundation or charity of choice, along with being eligible for the Alan Page Community Award, the NFLPA’s highest player honor which includes an additional $100,000 donation.
