Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson responded to a request by Jets QB Zach Wilson on Instagram to rate his Griddy, the TD dance popularized largely by Jefferson as a rookie in 2020.
In a 24-20 win over the Steelers on Sunday, Wilson showed off his own take on the Griddy after catching the first receiving touchdown of his career on a trick-play pass from receiver Braxton Berrios.
"Not gonna lie... you was hitting it (fire emoji) a good 9/10," Jefferson wrote in the comments section of the quarterback's Instagram post.
That's high praise, but it leads one to wonder what more Wilson could have done to earn a 10.
The game was the quarterback's first back from a right knee injury that had sidelined him for almost the entire preseason and the first three weeks of the regular season. Doing the knee-intensive dance may have been Wilson's way of letting people know that he is fully recovered.
