The Week 5 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons was interrupted when a 10-year-old boy ran onto the field as the Bucs were lining up for an extra point attempt. After briefly evading security, the child was tackled by stadium workers, but not before video was captured of the incident.

Sunday's incident continues a recent disturbing trend of fans taking to the gridiron during NFL games, though this is unlike many others, with a child being involved. During the Week 4 "Monday Night Football" game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, eight-time Pro Bowl linebacker Bobby Wagner helped security by trucking a fan who stormed the field with a pink flare.
According to a TMZ report, the boy at the Atlanta-Tampa Bay game "hopped (the) stadium railing" and "made it several yards down the sideline ... juking stadium workers who were trying to stop him." The report said that the boy was issued a civil citation, given notice to appear in court and then released.
