Watch: Bengals fan trolls NFL with mock coin flip during draft announcement

The NFL has made a habit out of letting fans announce mid-round draft picks at the Draft, but they ended up getting some egg on their face with that tradition on Sunday.

A Cincinnati Bengals fan opened his announcement of the team's fourth-round pick with a mock coin flip, and it got quite a reaction from Rich Eisen and the NFL Network crew.

Have a look.

Because the NFL did not complete the Buffalo Bills-Bengals game when Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field, both teams played just 16 games this past season. That created some potential issues with tie-breaking procedures for the playoffs.

The NFL decided it was going to use a coin-flip to determine home-field advantage in the wild-card round if the Baltimore Ravens had defeated the Bengals in their Week 18 game, and if the two teams played each other in the playoffs.

The Bengals were livid with that possibility, and running back Joe Mixon even worked a coin-flip celebration after scoring a touchdown during that Week 18 game.

Ultimately it never came to that because Cincinnati won that game, but it is something that still clearly sticks with the Bengals and their fans. And one of them had a chance to make a statement about it.

The Bengals used that fourth-round pick on wide receiver Charlie Jones from Purdue.
