The New York Giants are having a dismal season, but an electric kickoff return in Sunday's home game against the Indianapolis Colts could cheer them up.
At the start of the second half, Indianapolis kicked off to fourth-year wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette, who returned it for a 100-yard touchdown.

According to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com, Smith-Marsette's return was the first kickoff TD return by a Giant since Dwayne Harris had a 100-yarder against the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 25, 2015.

The Giants signed Smith-Marsette in September. The fourth-year WR has mainly served as a return specialist.
In his first three seasons with the Vikings, Panthers and Bears, he had 14 receptions for 182 yards and two touchdown catches. His kickoff return TD on Sunday was the first of his career.
Smith-Marsette's big play will likely be one of the Giants' few highlights. Entering Sunday's game, they ranked last in the league in points scored (14.3).
