Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins took their first lead of the season.

Quarterback Josh Rosen dropped back in the pocket and delivered a 34-yard strike for his first touchdown with the Dolphins.

The play came on Miami’s first drive of the game against the Chargers as its offense moved down the field quickly. Rosen saw DeVante Parker open down the sideline and dropped it right into his hands for the go-ahead touchdown.

Perhaps the Chargers defense wasn’t expecting Miami’s offense to be effective. Parker was left wide open down the field and that’s a throw Rosen won’t miss.

Given everything that has gone wrong for Miami this season, especially on offense, perhaps this can be a spark to at least keep them in a game for the first time this season.
