Watch: Mistake costs Packers three points at the half

The Green Bay Packers can clinch a playoff spot with a win. If they can stop shooting themselves in the foot.

The Packers were driving, looking to add to their 7-6 lead over the Chicago Bears, when Jordan Love passed to passed to rookie Dontayvion Wicks on the sidelines.

But the Bears' Tyrique Stevenson stopped Wicks' forward progress before he could get out of bounds, and the clock ran out on the Packers before they could spike the ball and kick a field goal.

Green Bay simply needs to beat the eliminated Bears to earn the last wild-card slot in the NFC. But missing out on three points late in the first half, as well as missing a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter, could let a win slip away.

Love and Wicks made up for their mistakes early in the third. The rookie wide receiver got his second touchdown grab of the day. And he stayed in bounds.
