Watch: Myles Garrett records 100th career sack in record time

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett made NFL history on Sunday, recording his 100th career sack against the Cincinnati Bengals.

And not only that, he did so before turning age 29 (28 years, 359 days) - the first player in NFL history to accomplish the feat so quickly.

Garrett becomes the 45th player since 1982 to reach the 100 sack plateau as he approaches his 29th birthday on Dec. 29.

He is also just the fifth player since the same year to hit the century mark in his first eight seasons in the league. That list includes Reggie White, DeMarcus Ware, Jared Allen and T.J. Watt, who did so in Week 12 this year.

Garrett entered Week 16 with 11 sacks on the season, good for fifth in the league. He is still well within striking distance of finishing the year as the sack king. Cincinnati's Trey Hendrickson currently leads the league with 12.5.

He also entered the matchup with Cincinnati having 12 sacks in 11 career games against the Bengals.
