Watch: Packers RB Aaron Jones gets stitched up on sidelines

With just 27 yards on his first nine carries, running back Aaron Jones didn’t exactly tear the Cowboys defense apart, but after a pair of quick touchdowns his jersey said otherwise.

Jones wasted no time getting the Packers on the board with a three-yard touchdown in the first quarter followed by a one-yard score to start the second quarter.

While Jones’ Packers entered AT&T Stadium as seven point underdogs on Sunday, many believed Green Bay had a puncher’s chance given quarterback Jordan Love’s recent play.

Love finished the regular season with 18 touchdowns and one interception in his last eight games.

But the seven-year veteran also came up big, averaging 119.3 yards over the team’s last three games and was a big reason Green Bay made the playoffs. He didn’t have a score from Weeks 10-18, but certainly made up for it against the Cowboys.

Jones finished the first half with 30 yards rushing, two touchdowns and one uniform alteration. If the Cowboys don’t alter their game plan in the second half, look for team owner Jerry Jones to make some alterations of his own on the coaching staff.
