Watch: Packers take a massive lead on Dak Prescott pick-six

The Dallas Cowboys finished the regular season with the No. 1 scoring offense in the NFL, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from watching the first half of their Super Wild Card Weekend matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

Dallas, which averaged the fifth-most yards per game (371.6), mustered just 123 yards of total offense at time of publication and trailed 27-0 in the final two minutes of the first half after quarterback Dak Prescott threw a 64-yard pick-six to Packers defensive back Darnell Savage.

It marked the largest home deficit for the Cowboys since 1969.

Prescott was targeting CeeDee Lamb on the play, but Savage jumped the route and plucked the ball out of the air as Lamb cut out of his break.

It was Prescott’s second interception of the half, and it was just the second time this season he’d thrown multiple interceptions in a game.

The other instance came in Week 5 when he was picked off three times in a 42-10 drubbing by the San Francisco 49ers.

After throwing a career-high 15 interceptions in 2022, Prescott had just nine this year — his fewest in a season in which he started 10 or more games since 2018.
