Quarterback Bryce Young keeps showing the Carolina Panthers why they should give him one more season to prove he's their guy.
In Sunday's road game against the Atlanta Falcons, Young tossed a 33-yard touchdown to running back Miles Sanders late in the second quarter. The second-year QB showcased pinpoint accuracy on the play.

After an 0-2 start, the Panthers benched Young in favor of Andy Dalton. He reassumed the starting role when Dalton injured his right thumb in a car accident before Week 8.
Since then, Young has made significant strides. Over his past nine starts, the 2023 No. 1 overall pick has completed 60.4% of his passes for 1,853 yards and 12 touchdowns, tossing six interceptions.
According to CBS Sports, Young is tied with Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen for the most games (four) with a passing and rushing TD since December.

Young still must quiet concerns about his size (5-foot-10, 204 pounds) to prove he's a viable franchise quarterback. If he does, the Panthers should keep investing in his future. His arrow is clearly pointing upward.
