Watch: Tyler Allgeier Scores, Gives Falcons 20 Unanswered vs. Colts
Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons (6-8) are rolling in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts (8-6) inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Already boasting a 13-7 lead, the Falcons came out of halftime with intentions of extending their advantage - and did exactly that on an impressive drive.

Quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who's making his first start since Week 10 in place of benched signal caller Desmond Ridder, started the second half by dropping the snap - but quickly put everything back on track.

Heinicke found running back Bijan Robinson in the flat, and Robinson made multiple defenders miss en route to a 14-yard pickup and Falcons first down.

A five-yard run by Robinson was followed by a six-yard pass to tight end Jonnu Smith, giving Atlanta another first down.

Veteran running back Cordarrelle Patterson followed suit with three carries for 23 yards, setting the stage for running back Tyler Allgeier to do the rest.

Allgeier took a handoff around the right end of Atlanta's offensive line and marched 31 yards to the endzone, giving the Falcons a 20-7 lead while vaulting the offense to over 300 total yards.

Here's a look at Allgeier's longest rushing touchdown this season ...

It marks Allgeier's fourth rushing score this season, giving him a new career-high after finding paydirt three times as a rookie in 2022.

The Falcons lead the Colts, 20-7, halfway through the third quarter.
