We like the Niners tonight on 'TNF'

Week 15 gets going tonight with an NFC West battle between San Francisco and Seattle. The Seahawks are two games back of the Niners in the division and are in a dangerous spot in the NFC playoff race. Seattle needs this win.

San Fran should be able to spoil Seattle's night

Unfortunately for Seattle, we're not too optimistic they take this game tonight, even at home. That belief is rooted in San Francisco's dominance of the NFC West this season. In four divisional games, the 49ers have won each by at least 15 points. That includes a 27-7 win over Seattle back in Week 2.

Now, Deebo Samuel is out tonight, but San Francisco has the depth to mitigate the impact of that loss. Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk should all be able to put forth a strong effort against what has been a struggling Seahawks defense.

No team has allowed more rushing yards per game of late than Seattle. In just the last three games, the Seahawks defense has allowed on average 225.7 rushing yards per game. It will make Brock Purdy's job all the easier knowing he can let his offensive line and talented backfield grab easy yardage tonight.

On the other side of that coin, the 49ers should be able to shut down Seattle's best weapon: rookie running back Kenneth Walker. San Francisco has been the tightest team to rush on the year, allowing just 75.1 yards per game and 3.4 yards per carry. If Walker can't get going, that makes Seattle one-dimensional in a hurry.

Seattle has also been one of the worst defenses against tight ends. They're allowing the fourth-most yards per game to the position and are allowing the most explosive passing plays per game to opposing TEs. In comes Kittle, who had 181 yards when he last played against the Seahawks.

Instead of looking to player props or touchdowns, why don't we just keep it simple here?

Dodgers sign Noah Syndergaard to shore up starting rotation — The Dodgers put a bow on their starting rotation Wednesday by signing righty Noah Syndergaard to a one-year deal. Syndergaard was 10-10 with a 3.94 ERA last year for the Angeles and Phillies. Syndergaard will provide some stability to the end of what is a loaded rotation, including Julio Urias, Clayton Kershaw, Tony Gonsolin, and Dustin May. Los Angeles is +700 to win the World Series, the second-best odds behind the Astros.
