Week 5 London game long play prop: Lazard's time

The NFL is in London again this week, which means we get to wake up to football on Sunday. It would be downright irresponsible to not have a little action on the morning game as we sip our coffees, and luckily this game presents a nice opportunity for a long play prop.

Allen Lazard over 19.5 longest reception (-115 MGM)

Through four weeks, the Giants have allowed 13 passes of 20+ yards. This is particularly "impressive" when you consider some of the offenses they've faced up to this point, namely the Panthers and Bears.

What really caught my eye about the New York secondary, and why I've deemed them a viable target in Week 5, is their high DADOT. Defensive average depth of target, which my regulars have surely tired of me explaining, is a metric that quantifies how far down the field offenses are throwing the ball against a defense. The Giants' is 8.7, which is tied for seventh-highest in the NFL.

Quarterbacks are pushing the ball down the field against this offense, and now we get Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to take advantage.

Allen Lazard is coming off his best game yet, catching three passes of 20+ yards and finishing the week with six catches for 116 yards. He clearly has Rodgers' trust, and Lazard tops the team in aDOT at 13.6.

The Packers receiver is over this modest 19.5 mark in two straight games and five of his last seven outings. He's leading Green Bay WRs in playing time, playing all but nine offensive snaps the past two weeks.

Love this number for Lazard on Sunday morning.
