What’s Next for Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce After the Super Bowl?

Some much-needed alone time is reportedly in the cards for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift after Sunday’s Super Bowl 59 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Kelce’s dad Ed.

Swift arrived in New Orleans on Friday, and she and Kelce were spotted out on the town that night along with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany at French restaurant Lilette.

It was the first time the couple had seen each other in over a week with Swift purposely staying away to let the Pro Bowl TE focus on Sunday’s Super Bowl.

“I think we get past the Super Bowl, I think it's going to be a very good period of time for the two of them without the NFL season, without the ‘Eras Tour’ — just them alone really connecting more,” Ed told Australia Today. “I think that can only be a good thing.”

Many expect the couple to get engaged once the NFL season ends, though Kelce spent the week dodging questions about whether or not fans can expect Swift to be sporting a ring on her hand anytime soon.

Those closest to Kelce and Swift expect when a proposal does happen for it to be a private, intimate moment between the two and not done publicly for the world to see (some fans are betting it happens after the Super Bowl if the Chiefs win).

It’s also been reported that Kelce and Swift are buying a home together in Kansas City during the offseason. Swift currently resides in New York but has decided she wants to be closer to Kelce during football season — a likely sign that he won’t, in fact, retire this year like many believe he will.

Kelce and the Chiefs aren’t just gunning for their fourth Super Bowl in the last six years on Sunday, they also have a shot at NFL history. A win on Sunday would make Kansas City the first franchise ever to three-peat as Super Bowl champions.
