The Kansas City Chiefs joined the NFL world in 1960 when they were known as the Dallas Texans. In 1963, the franchise relocated to Kansas City and the Chiefs were born.
Since joining the football universe, the Chiefs have pumped out some legends. This isn't just in the player department either, as the Chiefs have had some legendary names such as Lamar Hunt, Hank Stram, and Dick Vermeil find their way into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Who else is in the Hall of Fame for Kansas City?
Of course, this list includes guys who might have played for KC for a few years but had most of their success elsewhere (Mike Webster, Ty Law, Darrelle Revis, etc). and the same goes for the coaches and executives (Marv Levy, Bill Polian, etc.).
With the Chiefs only entering the football scene in 1960, it took them 12 years to get someone inducted into the Hall of Fame and it made sense that it was Lamar Hunt who got that honor. The most recent Chiefs Hall of Fame inductee is Darrelle Revis, who spent the majority of his career with the Jets and only played in Kansas City for one year, which ended up being the final year of his prestigious career.
