Xavier Worthy Off-Field Update Announced

Xavier Worthy has been a key contributor for the Kansas City Chiefs in their 5-0 start to the season. He currently leads the team in receptions with 21, while also recording 206 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The 23-year-old wide receiver is expected to have a more prominent role with the team, especially as the Chiefs continue to diversify their offense.

While the Chiefs are focused on the season and establishing themselves as Super Bowl contenders, Worthy hasn’t forgotten his off-field commitments or his responsibility to give back to the community.

During the Chiefs’ bye in Week 5, Worthy went back to his hometown of Fresno to award scholarship grants to two single mothers as part of his foundation’s initiative.

Now, Worthy has another event scheduled that will allow him to spend time with Chiefs fans. On Thursday, the Arrowhead Stadium Instagram account announced that the Kansas City wideout will make an appearance on Nov. 6 for a stadium tour.

“Act fast,” Arrowhead Stadium wrote. “Xavier Worthy is making an appearance at an upcoming tour at Arrowhead, so book your spot now using the link in our bio for a picture and autograph!”

According to the Arrowhead Stadium website, the stadium tour will include an “exclusive photo-op” with Worthy, as well as “a chance for one signed item.” There will also be a “90-minute guided tour of the Chiefs home locker room, Hall of Honor, Field and other exciting areas throughout Arrowhead Stadium.”

The Chiefs will be on a two-game road trip but will return to Arrowhead on Nov. 8 for a Week 9 matchup with the New York Jets. With that in mind, fans will get to meet Worthy days before that showdown.
