'You can crack a smile' Cameras catch Jalen Hurts' legendary sideline interaction with Philadelphia Eagles teammate during Super Bowl LIX

The Philadelphia Eagles were up 40-6 over the Kansas City Chiefs with eight minutes left to go in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LIX.

However, Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts was not ready to celebrate because even though the clock was winding down and the Birds held a giant lead, Super Bowl 57's tragic loss to KC continued to haunt the back of his mind.

"You can crack a smile, too," Eagles tight end Grant Calcaterra said while sitting next to Huts on the bench.

"I'm not gonna lie to you, bro," Hurts responded shaking his head, "that last one changed my soul, man. That s--t ... that s--t did. S--t ain't ever over. 'Til the fat lady sang, you know."

Eagles take a 40-6 lead.

The Chiefs came up with two more touchdowns before the game was over, making the final score a bit closer at 40-22.

Hurts finally cracked a smile after the clock ran out and confetti fell.

However, the Eagles ultimately winning Super Bowl 59 still left him feeling unsatisfied.

"When it's all said and done for me, I won't measure my success off of any numbers of statistics or passing yards or touchdowns or anything like that," Hurts said after the win. "I measured off the rings and championships."It's all a journey and I've still yet to arrive.

"We [have] still yet to arrive as a team. We just enjoy everything, put forth the effort, and it's taken us here."

Hurts entered this year's Super Bowl Sunday with a photo of himself taken from the Eagles' 2022 SBLVII loss on his phone's lock screen. He also confirmed that he doesn't plan on changing that picture.

It's more than safe to say that Super Bowl 57 will be fueling Hurts to more Super Bowl rings.
