USA Hockey announced on Monday that all-session ticket packages for the 2026 IIH World Junior Hockey Championship, taking place in Minnesota, will go on sale starting Thursday, Dec. 26 at 10 a.m. CT.

The tournament, which takes place from Dec. 26, 2025 through Jan. 5, 2026, returns to Minnesota for the first time since Thief River Falls was co-host of the 2005 edition of the tournament. It will be the third time Minnesota has played host to the tournament, including the 1982 edition, which was the first time it was held in the United States.

Games will take place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul and 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.

The tournament is a showcase for the best male hockey players in the world under 20 years of age. The 2025 World Juniors are being held in Ottawa, Ontario starting Dec. 26, 2024. Team USA is the defending champion. The 2026 edition will be the 50th anniversary of the prestigious tournament.

All-session ticket packages include entry into all 29 tournament games, including the medal round. The full schedule will be announced at a later date but games will be staggered to allow fans to attend every game of the tournament.

USA Hockey announced there are three ticket price levels — all in the lower bowls of Xcel Energy Center and at Mariucci — ranging from $1,499 to $2,499 per seat, plus taxes and fees.

Tickets will go on sale here.

Fans are limited to purchasing eight ticket packages per order.

All U.S. games, as well as many others, will be broadcast live on NHL Network.
